Ray-Ban Goes Gay
Sunglass manufacturer Ray-Ban brings its advertising into the 21st century with a new advertisement that features a 20th century same —sex couple. The big gay ad is part of the iconic brand's "Never Hide" campaign that also commemorates Ray-Ban's 75th anniversary.
The advertisement features two men holding hands as they walk down a bustling urban street. The couple and cosmopolitan pedestrians in the photo are dressed in fashions from the 1940s.
The LGBT community is heaping universal praise on Ray-Ban for the new ad, which is reportedly the company's first to include a gay couple.
