David Beckham: 'I've never padded my pants. I don't need help in that department.'

Unlike his 2007 Emporio Armani underwear ad (below), crotch shots are mysteriously absent from the David Beckham Bodywear commercial scheduled to air during Sunday’s Super Bowl. Perhaps that’s because the football game broadcast is considered “family” viewing and Beckham has just confirmed that his impressive bulge is the real deal.

In an exclusive interview with the UK’s Daily Mirror newspaper Friday, Beckham said that, unlike most underwear models, he doesn’t stuff his skivvies.

“I’ve never, ever padded out my pants, or shoved socks down there, “ the soccer star insists. “I’ve never had to for any photoshoots I’ve done because, hopefully, I don’t need to. Well, let’s just say I’ve been told I don’t need any help in that department…I think I’m pretty OK.”

Back when his Armani adverts were making jaws drop around the globe, Beckham’s wife Victoria confirmed that the monsterous bulge threatening to burst through his BVDs indeed belongs entirely to her husband.

“He is very much in proportion," said Mrs. Beckham. “He does have a huge one, though. You can see it in the [Armani] advert. It is all his. It is like a tractor exhaust pipe.”
