First, Bette Midler accepted Ryan Murphy's very public invitation for her to be on 'Glee' — possibly as Rachel's granny. Then, stealing the thunder of Seth MacFarlane hosting the Oscars, it was announced that former "Weekend Update" anchors Tina Fey and Amy Poehler would reteam as hosts of the Golden Globe Awards. Finally, it's official that Beyoncé's headlining the Super Bowl halftime show. Can this week get any gayer?

Queen Bey put rumors to rest and confirmed that she will be the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show entertainment with a simple post and photo on her website entitled "Countdown to Touchdown." (Grab your calendar and put a big red "B" on Feb. 3.) Fans are left to speculate on her set list, guest stars, and whether she'll wipe the floor with Madonna's halftime performance.

Behold this embarassment of diva riches in a year when Britney Spears joined The X Factor and Mariah Carey came aboard American Idol. What’s next? Is Cher hosting the Tonys? Is Diana Ross replacing Sherri Shepherd on The View? Is Celine Dion going to come over to your house and whip up a batch of French martinis while you watch RuPaul’s Drag Race? Bring it on, ladies.
