George Clooney's Sister Spills the T on His Sexuality

Not long after Kirstie Alley told Barbra Walters that John Travolta isn't gay, George Clooney's sister has been asked to weigh in on the gay rumors aimed at her brother.

From her Kentucky home, Adelia Zeidler spoke to the New York Daily News and laughed off the suggestion that her slightly younger brother might be gay, despite his aversion to marriage — and even though he's reportedly a descendant of that alleged old queen Abraham Lincoln.

"That's quite ridiculous," she said. "We don't even listen when people say things like that anymore." According to Zeidler, the Hollywood playa is just too focused on his career to deal with a wife and kids.

Of course, Clooney directly addressed those pesky gay rumors in an interview earlier this year with The Advocate:

"I think it’s funny, but the last thing you’ll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying, 'These are lies!' That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community. I'm not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing. My private life is private, and I’m very happy in it. Who does it hurt if someone thinks I'm gay? I'll be long dead and there will still be people who say I was gay. I don't give a shit."

But back to Adelia Zeidler, here are our burning questions: Why is this broad talking to the press about her brother at all, and what's New York Daily News doing reaching out to her in the first place? Tacky.
