Gay Rodeo Champion Rides "Big Brother 10," Tim Gunn Trashes Cindy McCain
The cast of Big Brother 10, which premiered last night, includes Steve, a champion of the gay rodeo circuit and all-around hunk from Texas who says he knows how to compete.
His Big Brother strategy? To bond with the women. "Women love gays," Steve reasoned, "so, of course, I'm going to walk in there and win all of the women over immediately."
Despite his strategy, Steve chose not to reveal his sexual orientation to his new roommates immediately when they all made their introductions in the living room. He also decided not to tell them he was a bull rider right away. "I didn't want to say, 'Hey, I'm a bull rider,' and 'Hey, I'm gay,' " he later said in the diary room. "I just want people to get to know Steve."
Well, I definitely want to get to know Steve. How about you?
FYI: According to Steve's bio on CBS, his perfect romantic partner is strong and masculine, financially secure and smart.
Steve flew under the radar in the first episode, and wasn't nominated for eviction by Jerry, the 75-year-old Marine who was voted the first Head of Household.
Jerry put up Renny, the beauty salon owner whose big mouth quickly got her into trouble, and Jessie, the professional body builder.
It's way too early in the game for Jessie and his six-pack to go, so I vote for Renny to be the first to leave the Big Brother house.
How about you?
(Getty Images) Michelle Obama or Cindy McCain?
Project Runway guru Tim Gunn was interviewed for Time's 10 Questions feature this week, and he was asked that question exactly as it is posed above.
Tim's answer: "Oh no contest, Michelle Obama. Absolutely. She looks so comfortable and relaxed in her style, in her fashion, and she exudes that. She has a presence that gives you confidence in her."
While that's all Time chose to print, New York magazine points out that Tim had more to say on the subject.
Time actually videotaped his 10 questions interview and posted it on YouTube, and after complimenting Michelle Obama, Tim goes on to trash Cindy McCain, pronouncing, "Cindy McCain looks like someone has twisted her ponytail into a knot and tried to give her a facelift."
Tim also rails against Crocs in the interview and declares season three's Vincent Libretti "the most irritating, most annoying and most kickable" Project Runway contestant ever.
