Ricky Martin Shocker: He's A Dad!, Which NKOTB Is Gay?
(Getty Images) Ricky "Livin' La Vida Loca" Martin is a dad. Am I the only one who is stunned by this news?
His representatives just announced that the Latin heartthrob—who is rumored to be gay, although he has never come out—fathered twin boys with a surrogate mother. No further information has been released on the babies who were born a few weeks ago, according to The Associated Press.
A few weeks ago?
I have to give Ricky and everyone around him credit for being able to keep a secret!
"The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care," Ricky's reps said via a statement issued to The Associated Press and other media outlets. "Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children."
It's probably safe to say that Ricky won't be coming out of the closet anytime soon. He has dodged rumors regarding his sexual orientation for years. During an interview back in 2005, Barbara Walters asked Ricky if he was gay. Flustered by even having to discuss the issue, Ricky told Barbara "that sexuality is something that each individual should deal with in their own way."
Which NKOTB Is Gay?

Perez Hilton reports that Jonathan Knight, who dated pop goddess Tiffany back in the day, is gay and might soon come out of the closet. "Jonathan has a [non-famous] boyfriend, and they're very happy," a source tells Perez. "They're not trying to hide it."
If Jonathan is indeed gay, it's probably safe to say that his brother and fellow New Kid on the Block Jordan Knight doesn't have an issue with it. That's because Jordan, who has two kids with his wife Evelyn, performed at St. Louis' Gay Pride last summer and was supportive when Lance Bass of 'NSYNC came out a couple of years ago.
"I think it's pretty cool," Jordan told The New York Daily News when Lance announced that he was gay. "I'm looking forward to a boy band that comes out, and right [off the bat] they say one of them is gay. I think that would be the best thing. They'll get all the girls and all the gay guys. Know what I mean? It'll be perfect!"
Between Ricky and Jonathan, this is a lot of major gay news to digest. So what do you think about Ricky being a father and the idea of Jonathan being one of us? And, by the way, has anyone actually bought the new New Kids on the Block album?
