Gerard Butler Just Wants to Show His...

“I love to show my rear end in roles," the luscious leading man Gerard Butler admitted to Parade. "I fear it’s becoming a bit of a habit, a tradition that I have to show my ass in every movie that I can..." For his latest big action role, Butler stars opposite Jamie Foxx in Law Abiding Citizen and again flashes the full backside. Butler said it suited his character, who is "completely unpredictable, and so when he strips off it makes sense. I mean, there’s a genius behind that, and if it means I have to bare my ass again, then so be it."

Who could hold such a game attitude against the Scottish actor?

The actor revealed he was none too shy about his revealing shots. Butler said he knows it's a prime feature, as he's "always had a tight ass. Actually, I have kind of a skinny, tight ass. I can't believe we're talking about this."

The fit action star, who had abs to die for in the epic 300, says this time he honed his body differently. I did want a certain look for my body in this movie," Butler revealed. "I was kind of inspired by watching De Niro in Taxi Driver. You know, there's that scene where he's doing the push-ups and he's so cut. But whenever I make those decisions to get ripped to shreds for a role, I go, 'Oh, shit. Here we go. It's going to be another three months of trying to diet and trying to get myself back in shape."
