Gay TV on a Monday Night: Slapsgiving & Star Wars

It's officially the most wonderful time of the year. Thanksgiving is coming at us this Thursday just as surely as our weekly hot vampire fix, that night's usual bite delight: The Vampire Diaries. Even if you're a gay grinch, hopefully your heart warms a little at the notion of television's holiday specials. A favorite of ours, the How I Met Your Mother "Slapsgiving" turkey day tradition, lives on in tonight's episode. Equally festively exciting is the fact that Lady Gaga performs on The Jay Leno Show tonight at 10. Let us know what you watched and what you thought to properly kick off the holiday spirit in TV land.

Delicious grub-heavy American holidays all aside, the nation is engrossed in a real debacle: Donny, Mya, or Kelly O.? The Dancing With the Stars two-night season finale event kicks off tonight at 8 on ABC. Watch Donny Osmond and partner Kym Johnson, Kelly Osbourne and out dancer Louis Van Amstel, and singer Mya and her pro, Dmitry Chaplin, give their final performances before fans decide their fate for Tuesday's concluding show.

Also at 8, CBS hit How I Met Your Mother has its own special Thanksgiving tradition: Marshall (Jason Segel) strikes his hand for due justice against Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) face. Continuing the slap-bet tradition, the countdown has already begun:

If you want a slightly less traditional take on T-day, check out Trauma on NBC at 9. The medics treat an "unusually common Thanksgiving emergency." Hmm, what could it be? Death by gravy scalding? Poisoned peas side dish? We're curious to find out.

Million Dollar Listing is all new tonight on Bravo at 10, but the synopsis is entirely familiar. Madison versus Chad, face-off #2306, isn't it by now? This time the snooty real estate agents fail to avoid each other when Madison attends an event hosted by the Chad-man. We like Madison, but how hard is it to avoid a dude with bangs that distinctive? Madison discusses how small the 'Bu (Malibu) is below:

Also in the 10 o'clock hour, Lady Gaga graces The Jay Leno Show on NBC with her presence for a song or two.

At 11 the foodie trend continues to kill in the ratings, especially on Bravo. All cooking and challenges aside, tonight's episode of Chef's Academy is definitely a little different, and it ain’t because of sexy Chef Novelli's dessert assignment. Taking a page from most reality competitions, might scandal erupt after Kup and Kyle discover one of their fellow students was a porn star?!

Star Wars fans: this one's for you! Seth Green's Adult Swim show, Robot Chicken, rolls out its Star Wars Episode 2.5 special tonight at 11:30 on Cartoon Network. The one-hour special is the third installment in the stop-motion series’ silly spoofs.

We're loving spy thriller Kiss Me Deadly, available On Demand or on Gay.com premium members. That bitch Brenda, Shannon Doherty, is back, starring opposite gay hunk Robert Gant in this memory-bending adventure. Gant stars as Jacob Keane, a gay ex-spy who is reluctantly drawn back into the shadowy world of international espionage by his former partner, Marta (Doherty).

In late-night talk show land, Twilight fever is hard to get rid of. The best-looking side effect of the media madness, Taylor Lautner, appears on The Tonight Show on NBC at 11;35 p.m. After Conan chats up the face and namesake of "Team: Jacob," stick around to see Timbaland and Nelly Furtado perform with So Shy. After that, switch over to CBS at 12:35 a.m. to catch our favorite funny lady, Margaret Cho, on The Late Show With Craig Ferguson to discuss her newest DVD, Beautiful. Here's a clip from the special:

Tell us: Do you like holiday-themed episodes of your favorite shows, or do they bring out your grinch tendencies? Who's your pick for DWTS champion this season?
