Memorable as Monday night TV may have been, Tuesday has a TV moment that many have been holding their breath for: the return of Heather Locklear to Melrose Place. Will bringing "the bitch back" make or break the fledgling nighttime soap remake? Time will tell. But it will certainly be worth watching for a shot of Amanda Woodward adrenaline. Coupled with the exciting conclusion of the miniseries event The Prisoner and a Gleeful gay guest in late night, and you've got a perfect night of TV set for Tuesday.

Starting at 8 p.m., watch the thrilling final chapters of the six-part, star-studded AMC event The Prisoner. While devoted fans of the ‘60s cult film doubted the revamp could rival the original, we've been engrossed by the enigmatic and always flawless performance from Sir Ian McKellen as Two. Tonight's climax sees a death sentence passed down to Six (Jim Caviezel) and possibly secrets of the Village revealed.

At 8:30 on NBC, Project Runway mentor and pretty much our favorite thing to come from reality TV ever, Tim Gunn, makes an appearance on The Biggest Loser. Gunn's on hand to gussy up the remaining competitors, who are due for a big makeover now that they've shed so much weight.

The main attraction for TV fans old and young this Tuesday has to be the bitch-tastic return of Amanda Woodward (Heather Locklear) to Melrose Place. We'd all but given up on the crappy-not-campy reboot, but the blond in a power miniskirt is back to stir things up in the lives of the meagerly talented 20-somethings. Portraying the powerful owner of WPK, she fires hot gay boss Caleb (Victor Webster) and warns baby blond Ella (Katie Cassidy) she's on thin ice if she doesn't step up her PR game.

If you're a closeted John Mayer fiend, get your fix with an hourlong special dedicated to the singer-songwriter on Fuse at 9 p.m. On John Mayer: Live From the Beacon Theater the popular popstar ditches Twitter talk and rumored tabloid romances and puts his mouth to better use: his music. Mayer performs his biggest hits and selections from the new album for fans in NYC. Tech-savy fans can even Tweet in during the broadcast.

At 10, check out another new episode of Tabitha's Salon Takeover on Bravo. As yet another salon faces foreclosure, superhero hairstylist Tabitha Coffey shows up to save the day and shape up the self-defeating, whiny staff. Coffey can't be crossed, as each lippy loser who tries to fight her quickly finds out. Here are Coffey's tips for getting respect from your staff:

A fascinating inside look at the gay adult film industry, here! TV's original sereis: Everything You Wanted to Know About Gay Porn Stars* but were too afraid to ask has all new episodes. Among the current and former porn stars featured on the series will be Johnny Hazzard, Brad Benton, Nick Capra, Jason Hawke, Nick Piston and Jason Ridge. Late night is a little bare for fabulous gay guests. First off, on Lopez Tonight, get the drama dish on The Real Housewives of Orange County from stars Jeana Keough, Alexis Bellino, and Tamra Barney on TBS at 11. One talented and true lesbian, Jane Lynch, holds down the house on The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien on NBC at 11:35. The funny lady has appeared in dozens of popular films and just happens to be the funniest part of the fantastic Fox series Glee. Letterman welcomes the lovely and intoxicating Penélope Cruz in the same hour on CBS. At midnight on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tune in as the ever-last of ‘80s crushworthy stars, John Stamos, stops by.
