Elton & Gaga Duet Live at the Grammys

By: Gay.com

Elton John, one of the most influential out gay performers in the world, will take the stage with Lady Gaga at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards January 31, according to reports.

Gaga, who’s cultivated a large gay following and repeatedly spoken out as an activist for the LGBT community, is up for five awards on music’s big night. She has said everything about her is “gay” and recently came to the defense of Adam Lambert when a drunken heckler made homophobic comments.

Though organizers say they are still hammering out the details, John gamely did not refute the exciting rumors of the duet when the press inquired at the Sundance Film Festival.

John famously performed with Eminem at the 2001 awards ceremony, and the two have remained friends, with John extending support to the controversial rapper as he battled an addiction to pills.

There will also be performances by Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and the Black Eyed Peas, plus a collaboration between rappers Eminem, Drake, and Lil Wayne with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
