Johnny Depp is so stylish, he apparently doesn’t even need to wear clothes. The bohemian movie star adorns the latest cover of GQ shirtless as the leader of the top 25 most stylish men in the world.
The star of the highly anticipated Tim Burton reimagining of Alice in Wonderland is a fashion icon, according to Barneys creative director Simon Doonan. The fashion expert explains, “Johnny Depp’s a unicorn—a really glamorous, one-of-a-kind eccentric. He wears great man jewelry. He doesn’t shy away from color. He’s always peeking through his amazing hair. It doesn’t matter if Johnny Depp’s lying in a ditch—he’s always going to look incredible.” Hard to argue with that apt assessment!
Other top fashion trendsetters, or observers at least, include Twilight dreamboat Robert Pattinson, sexy soccer stud David Beckham, and the eccentric comic Russell Brand, who we can easily assume looked to Depp for some style inspiration.
Additional nominees were the flawless Brad Pitt, rap’s ‘Mr. Big’ Jay-Z, and screen icon Clint Eastwood, whose rugged masculine appeal brought him a special “Hall of Famer” title.
