Canadians love their hockey, but do they love it enough to sing and dance?

Apparently they do. Canadian pop songstress Nelly Furtado is starring in the forthcoming musical comedy Score: A Hockey Musical.

In the film, written and directed by Michael McGowan, Furtado plays a crazed hockey enthusiast whose parents try to squelch her frantic fandom. Playing the parentals are Marc Jordan and musical darling Olivia Newton-John.
