Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga have a lot in common as the new faces of Mac’s Viva Glam campaign. Not only are both pop royalty and ultra-glamourous, but they are consummate LGBT advocates and activists.

The music icons will be appearing together in the newest campaign, with proceeds benefiting the MAC AIDS Fund. Each will have a special edition lipstick named after her. The Viva Glam Cyndi and Viva Glam Gaga lipsticks will be available March 18 and will retail for $14. They’ll stop by Good Morning America and the Today show this week to promote the launch.

The stylish singers, photographed by Ellen Von Unwerth for the superglamorous “From Our Lips” ads, are channeling a retro, pinup girl vibe. One such print ad is accompanied by the text "You know you've got a sexy voice. Use it! Let's talk about how to keep your love life safer, seductive and satisfying. Just between us girls!"

The pop stars are the latest celebs to pose for the philanthropic makeup line, which donates 100% of its profits to benefit men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS. Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Eve, Lil’ Kim, Pamela Anderson, Dita Von Teese, Missy Elliott, Fergie, Lisa Marie Presley, Shirley Manson, and Elton John have all appeared as spokespeople for the Viva Glam line since its inception in 1994.
