New Thor Photos: Chris Hemsworth & His Mighty Hammer

As Comic-Con kicks off, the first big wave of anticipation comes crashing down with these new images from Thor.

Studly Star Trek star Chris Hemsworth plays Thor, Warrior of Asgard, and wields the might Mjolnir with his huge, cut arms (left).  All while soaking wet, of course. Yum.

Here Odin, played by Anthony Hopkins, counsels his Thunder God son, Thor.

Paramount also released this concept art, which sees Thor in battle with his nemesis/brother, Loki.

Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, hits theaters on May 6, 2011.
