HBO’s True Blood leads Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, and Anna Paquin take it all off and get splattered with fake blood for their new Rolling Stone cover.

So, pretty much a normal day of work for the sexy stars.

Moyer and Ball talk the inherent sexy side of vampire lore and why Twilight pretty much sucks:

"If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn't one before. It's a de-virginization - breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood," Moyer muses in the interview. "And there's something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that's pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive."

"To me, vampires are sex," "True Blood" creator Alan Ball tells Rolling Stone. "I don't get a vampire story about abstinence. I'm 53. I don't care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed."

Yeah, Yeah. But can we get to work on photoshopping out that insufferable Sookie?
