Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s Baby Bliss

Proud parents David Burtka and out actor Neil Patrick Harris showed off their adorable twins in a People magazine spread.

Doting dads N.P.H. and Burtka gush over the joys of co-parenting and share the details of their road to fatherhood.

Harris cites, “Same-sex parenthood doesn’t happen accidentally. You have to really want it.” And they did. He explains, "We found an egg donor anonymously through a hilarious process of looking at people's profiles and then an amazing surrogate who had helped a same-sex couple before. And then we inserted two eggs, one with my sperm, one with David's sperm and they both took."

The result: fraternal twins Harper Grace and Gideon Scott.
