Fans of the gourmet food trucks that scuttle through their cities can now dig into the deliciousness with the new Roaming Hunger iPhone app.

Covering 800 vendors across the US—primarily in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco, but with more added every week—you can search for favorite truck or type of meal at any time of the day.

Using a combo of Google Maps and Twitter tech, you can find out:

•Real time food truck location map
•Detailed food truck profiles if you don't know about the company
•Menus so you can plan while getting there
•Pictures. Because we all like to know what our date looks like before we meet it. Him. Whatever.

Users can sort meals by breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night and can browse local areas with an interactive Google based map to find their next mobile meal. The software is available to download for FREE in the App Store.

“Going mobile was the natural progression,” says Ross Resnick, founder and Big Burrito of Roaming Hunger. “Our users are embarking on a daily food adventure to seek out the best gourmet street food vendors and this app is the ideal compass for that journey.”
