Glamour and Glitter- Jem! DVD Details Announced
Back in March we gave you the heads-up that the animated princess of pop, Jem, was coming home to DVD courtesy of Shout! Factory.
Details were scarce at the time of the announcement, other than the fact that show creator Christy Marx herself would be involved with the new project.
However, Shout! Factory has now shed some light on the upcoming release of the beloved 1980s series including an official earlier street date of October 11th.
The 11-DVD box set, with all 65 episodes of Jem! and the Holograms, will include a mylar-foil-board slipcase,as well as brand-new interviews with cast, crew, fans, and of course…show creator Christy Marx! Also included in the collectible package will be song and art galleries with one entire disc solely dedicated to all the extras. Cost for the set is $89.99, but it will be discounted at most retail stores and online sellers like Amazon.
Additionally, for those who prefer their fix of the pink-haired pop singer in smaller doses, Shout! Factory will also release a Jem! and the Holograms Season 1 four-DVD set available on the same day. (Additional seasons will follow at a later date.) The single season set is priced at $29.99, but expect it to be discounted as well.
Truly outrageous news for sure!
Shout! Factory is giving Jem—and her fans—the star treatment with this release.
