Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman Cast in 'Gay Dude' Movie
Hilarious Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation’s Ron Swanson) is set to join real life wife Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) in the forthcoming indie comedy, Gay Dude.
The promising premise of the movie sees two seniors in high school, Nicholas Braun (Red State) as Michael, and Hunter Cope as Matty, who vow to loose their virginity by prom night. The tired teen-com takes a turn, when Matty comes out as gay to Michael.
Offerman will play Braun's father, who finds him Googling the term "gay," but couldn't be more supportive. Gary Cole will play Cope's conservative father, who likes women to be women and men to be men. Mullally will play Cope's mother, while Brian Geraghty [The Hurt Locker] will play his annoying older brother, who still lives at home.
… Chris Nelson is directing from a Black List script by Parks and Recreation scribe Alan Yang.
