Wayne Hollowell has an eye for drama. In his new solo exhibit Drama Queen, which runs June 26-30 at NYC's Michael Mut Gallery, the pop artist pays tribute to iconic divas with his oversized portraits of stars like Liza, Divine, and the Real Housewives. "I aim to invoke the complexity and despair of these characters while celebrating their camp factor; something the gay community has done for decades," he says.
