Based on the 2005 film about a drag queen who saves a shoe factory, Kinky Boots opens Apr. 4 at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre with writer Harvey Fierstein, composer Cyndi Lauper, and direction by Broadway Bares creator Jerry Mitchell. The sexuality of said queen — played by out actor Billy Porter — may be up for debate, but can we all agree that this musical looks fab?
