Yigit Pura Shows Off His Sweet Spot
Sprinkling powdered sugar like magical fairy dust, Bravo's Top Chef: Just Desserts season 1 winner Yigit Pura gives Eater a behind-the-scenes taste of his first patisserie, Tout Sweet, which officially opens Sept. 8 in San Francisco.
Aside from Pura's domed "Fifth Element" dessert, the baked goods that really caught our eye are his Monster Paws, which are made in honor of Lady Gaga.
The Turkish-born Pura, who was also voted Just Desserts "fan favorite," became the first openly gay Top Chef and was later selected as one of The Advocate's 40 Under 40.
According to the Eater article's photo captions, “He'll continue to comment on The Cooking Channel's Unique Sweets, and he's got ‘something new’ brewing for Bravo.” Our mouths are already watering.
