WATCH: A Very Gaga Thanksgiving

By: Joe Thompson

The gayest of all holiday specials today will certainly be A Very Gaga Thanksgiving—and not just because the title is reminiscent of A Very Brady Christmas.

The 90-minute special airing on ABC was conceived and directed by Lady Gaga. It's supposed to offer an intimate look inside her private life—led through an interview with Katie Couric— as well as a Thanksgiving Day menu created by chef Art Smith (Top Chef Masters, Oprah's former chef, and owner of Table Fifty-Two in Chicago) that will repurpose her family's own recipes. Of course, it wouldn't be a Gaga even without music, so she'll perform eight of her songs that will be performed in front of a small audience filled with the singer's closest friends and family. Well-known danceables like "Bad Romance" and "The Edge of Glory" will be coupled with ballads like "You and I" and a duet with Tony Bennett for the new single "The Lady is a Tramp."

There have been a lot of commercials floating about so we dug up both a 1-minute clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live (his intro is pretty great) along with a 3-minute teaser from Entertainment Tonight. Check them out.

A Very Gaga Thanksgiving airs tonight on ABC, 9:30-11:00 PM.
