Sin City Shootout, January 12 – 16, 2012

A half decade ago the Greater Los Angeles Softball Association set out to create a premiere gay softball tournament, and within five short years the Las Vegas event has organically grown into one of the largest annual LGBT sports festivals. The 2012 Sin City Shootout will once again host over 4,000 LGBT athletes and spectators for a weekend of softball, basketball, tennis, wrestling and bodybuilding competitions.

“We plan this event from the view point of the athlete," explains Tournament Director Eric Ryan. "We take into consideration that they are traveling to Las Vegas to compete against the best of the best and to go along with that, make sure we provide the best venues Las Vegas has to offer, as well as great hotels and clubs to let loose in”.

A look at the official events schedule shows plenty of opportunity to "let loose," including American Idol and The Voice alum Frenchie Davis, with America’s Got Talent runner up Prince Poppycock taking to the stage at the closing party at the Tropicana’s swanky new RPM nightclub on Sunday, January 15.
