WATCH: Flash Mob Gay Marriage Proposal in Central Park

By: Brandon Voss

We’re a sucker for a good gay marriage proposal — especially if done in a Google cafeteria, silently with flash cards, or in the middle of a Garbage concert

But if you dig old-school drama and attention-grabbing spectacle, sometimes only a flash mob will do.

With Christina Perri as his musical muse, Carl Marucci went big to propose to boyfriend Drew Marsenison in front of Bethesda Fountain in Central Park on May 11. Drew didn't know what hit him — and we love when a mom gets involved in the ruse!

Um, did you know you could order up your own flash mob at Carl sure did.

Check out video of the mob proposal below.
