It’s Thanksgiving, traditionally a family holiday feast with a gratitude garnish.

Whether you celebrate with your fabulous friends or the whole extended genetic pool you came from, a good drink can make all the difference in enjoying Turkey Day.

From fancy to classics, here are some of the most festive libations for getting your buzz on by the big ole’ turkey this weekend:

Pumpkin Nog

Festive and flavorful, this is the perfect drink to mix up for a big group. Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim created this perfect recipe which combines “Southern Comfort bourbon, 12 jumbo eggs, five cups of whole milk, half a pound of superfine sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and half a cup of pumpkin puree.” Just beat the mixture and serve it in a big ole’ punch bowl with fresh ground cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Apple Cider Sparkle

Perfect for toasting round the table, this fizzy refreshment will bring a smile to your guests. “Take six cups of apple cider, 2 cups cranberry/raspberry cocktail, one bottle of champagne or sparkling wine and half a cup of lemon juice.” You can always have a non-alcoholic option for kids, designated drivers and sober dinner guests by substituting sparkling Martinelli’s apple cider for the hard stuff.

Pumpkin Martini

To impress your friends with a sophisticated and perfectly themed drink, serve this decadent cocktail. “Mix equal parts of Bailey's Irish cream, Disaronno Amaretto and Goldschlager chilled and strained into a fancy glass.”

More Turkey day treats to fill your glass this holiday weekend coming tomorrow!

Cheers to a happy Thanksgiving!
