Is the Honeymoon Over for ‘X-Men’ Gay Newlyweds?
Northstar and Kyle Jinadu may have only been married a few short months ago, but that hasn’t stopped the writers of Astonishing X-Men from sowing the seeds of doubt about the longevity of the couple’s high-profile relationship.
It may turn out to be something completely harmless, but a scene featuring the newlyweds in the latest issue of the comic series ended with one of those things that make you go hmmmm.
Not only are Northstar and his hubby dealing with the strain of super-heroics interfering with their one-on-one time, but the fact that Kyle was shown reaching for his laptop computer the moment his man left the room seems a bit suspicious to us. Maybe he’s just chatting with guys on Gay.com in hopes of making new friends. (Why are you looking at us like that? It happens.)
As Towleroad.com points out, movies and comics “don’t typically show meaningless scenes.” We’re guessing super-powered drama is just around the corner.
Take a look at the scene in question below.
