WATCH: David Sedaris Reads 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Out author David Sedaris just remembered why he's notoriously camera-shy.

While recently appearing on the the Dutch television show College Tour, the humorist and Me Talk Pretty One Day author was asked to read aloud a passage from Fifty Shades of Grey, that erotic E. L. James novel lonely ladies are still getting all wet about.

Yeah, it sounds like a cute bit to make a 56-year-old gay man talk about naughty tampon extraction, but it's not long before the audience starts giggling uncomfortably and totally leaving their bodies.
