Many Washington LGBT couples were able to get marriage licenses in statewide city halls on Thursday at 12:01am, and we celebrate that action with these pics of them getting ready to tie the knot. Among the couples were Dan Savage and Terry Miller, co-founders of the 'It Gets Better' anti-suicide campaign for LGBT youth. They got married in Canada years ago, but finally will be hitched in their home state as well. Congratulations guys! It's almost enough to make us grab our hankies.
