Hope you had a great birthday and continue to have many more, Michael. I am 29, and am not out yet. I have been attracted to men for a long time now. And have just recently started to explore that. For a long time, I have known it, but tried to just write it off as a curiosity. I am all too familliar with the world we live in. In fact, I am considered a member of a southern baptist church, so I know exactly what is being tought to people today, especially young people. As far as anyone that knows me, I am considered straight. I need to stop putting on a front that portrays me as that way, because I know eventually the truth will come out somehow. I like many others am afraid of what people will think of me, but it's time for me to stop hiding and be real with not only myself but with others as well. You really made my day. I'm 24 and some days I wished I went to bed and never woke up because while I want to feel happy I would like to make my family happy too, although I realize now we are walking on different paths and I can't compete with their religious beliefs and social circle. I'm studying now and try to get independent, I guess by my age many of you are independent now, but I lost some years on severe depression and temporal esquizofrenia. Fortunately I recovered at a 100%, and I promised myself I would never let anything or anyone get me in that situation again. Young people should not be dying everyday because of the pressure they get from their social circle or because of the loneliness they might feel when everything seems to go against them. You inspired me and I feel happy you are here to speak this beautiful words.

Mike you did the right thing and you are a very sweet person and I fill the same way how you fill I was afrade to come out because of the filling that my family and friends would hate me and renoice that they dont want anything to do with me but hey they came to me and siad they love me and I fill more happer then ever so Mike keep up the speech and tell the world and this country that we call USA that God loves all kinds of people
Michael, I am so glad you are here today, that you had the courage to make it through the night and into the light.
