The Ticked-Off Trannies With Knives phony outrage continues, and this time it's not GLAAD doing the bitching about the transploitation film; it's a group no one's ever heard of before called "MAGNET."
If you think their acronym is stupid, look at the stupid thing MAGNET (Media Advocates Giving National Equality to Trans People) is doing tonight:
April 6th- Protest Tribeca's Choice to show "Ticked Off Tra**ies"
More info to come today about protest activists are planning next Tuesday in New York City against Tribeca Film Festival's decision to show sexist, transphobic film "Ticked Off Trannies With Knives" which makes humor of "rape and violence" against transwomen

The movie, which I have not seen (and, undoubtedly, neither has anyone from MAGNET!), is being billed as a Kill Bill for the tranny set, and I think that's great. Empowering to the trans movement, even. And speaking of Kill Bill, I don't recall any Women's Rights groups protesting that.
But go ahead, MAGNET. Join GLAAD and undermine what should and could be your noble cause (fighting for equal rights) by engaging in censorship. And l hope that the irony is not lost on the people you claim to represent--people who have been victims of societal censorship themselves for most of modern history.
