Dude, Your Room Can Smell Like Burgers — on Purpose

Did you know it was National Hamburger Month? Neither did I. But, awesome!

Celebrate the bread-and-meat month or re-create your favorite greasy smell with the new White Castle limited-edition candle.

Who would you give this to? You know, I had a friend who actually smelled craveable foods when he was hard-core dieting; I guess he could appreciate a "steam grilled on a bed of onions" scented candle.

Kind of kitschy cute: “The limited-edition candle comes in a ceramic holder designed to mimic White Castle's hamburger packaging,” CNN reports.

The scent creators (who incidentally make my favorite scented candles for Bath & Body Works) are taking these slider-scented candles pretty seriously.

"When I think of truly superior aromas, I think of the aroma of a freshly grilled White Castle hamburger — life just doesn't get better than that," said Laura Slatkin, founder of Nest Fragrances. "We have captured that exact essence in our White Castle candle!"

Wow. On a positive note, the fast-food-inspired candle is only $10, and proceeds go to Autism Speaks, an autism science and advocacy organization.
