Like most of you, we love our own mom more than any other. But there are some famous mothers that are so remarkable, we can't help loving them too. Like Matthew Shepard's mom Judy, who got Obama to make good on his promise to sign The Matthew Shepard/James Bryd Jr. Act into law last October. Thank you Mrs. Shepard!

Betty Degeneres has always stood by daughter Ellen—even when
the rest of the world turned against her.

Jodie2

Y'all know Suri, Shiloh, and Maddox. Bet you don't know the
names of Jodie Foster's kids—that's because she has
fiercely protected their privacy.

CherGetty

Cher is cool enough to admit she wasn't that cool when her son Chaz
first came out as a lesbian. She has since made up for it in spades.

Obama

Despite the Tea-baggers, Michelle Obama has two delightful and
well-adjusted daughters. Plus, she's fighting for all of America's kids
by taking on childhood obesity.

Cat

Iron Chef America star Cat Cora is out, proud, married, and can
cook up a storm! Her wife and children are very lucky.

Sharon

Sharon Osbourne said in 2004 that her "only regret in life is that
none of my children are gay." Still, she accepts her straight kids
completely and would defend them to the death.

TAMMY

Tammy Lynn Michaels gave up her career to nurture her family
through Melissa Etheridge's battle with breast cancer. And even though
the couple split, Michaels' devotion to her kids is what we all deserve.

Celine

Celine Dion said that if her son turns out to be gay, "I'm with him. I
wanted that son. If he's a gay person, he's not any less of my son."

Brad

Yes we know that Brad Pitt is technically a dad. But Angelina clearly
wears the pants in the family and Brad is man enough to accept that.
He is the definitive fully evolved male.
