The gay news of the week is that Geri Jewell, who played Cousin Geri on '80s sitcom Facts of Life, is a big ol' lesbian.

That's right. Jewell has a memoir coming out this spring where she talks about her cerebral palsy. No surprise. That was the main focus of her comedy in those days, where she would often start acts with the treasured line, "I'm not drunk... I've got cerebral palsy." But the book also deals with some real revelations, including Jewell's coming out.

According to Jezebel, "Her memoir, out April 1, 2011, will cover her rise to fame, her struggles with cerebral palsy, the discrimination she experienced in Hollywood because of it, as well as her downward spiral into tax problems, having her money embezzled by her manager, a broken marriage and battling addiction. Additionally, the book will mark Jewell's official coming out regarding her sexuality."

This leaves us with one question: "Mrs. Garret, is that punch bowl big enough for us to drown in?"
