Melody is a rescued racing greyhound that I adopted 7 years ago. She was barely 2 and had only raced 4 times (she refused to leave the gate). She was locked in a warehouse when we found her. Despite the neglect and malnutrition, she grew into a sweet, gentle and very outgoing little girl who steals hearts and makes friends wherever she goes. She's a local Petco celebrity. She is also known for shoplifting treats!
Like most greyhounds, she sleeps about 20 hours a day, rarely barks, requires very little grooming or exercise. She and I are very active in Greyhound Rescue and Adoptions of Tampa Bay (GREAT) and she is the best fundraiser we have. She would very much appreciate your vote!
