Life Ball's Star-Studded Pageantry
Since 1993, the Life Ball in Vienna, Austria has been one of the biggest HIV/AIDS charity events in the world. In addition to fundraising, the goal of Life Ball is to celebrate life and set an example of “tolerance and solidarity to society and the whole world.”
The 19th Life Ball took place Saturday and was overflowing with the star-studded pageantry it has become famous for. In additional to an over-the-top fashion show by Dsquared2’s Dean and Dan Caten (left), the event included performances by Janet Jackson, Natasha Bedingfield and Holly Johnson. Among the attendees and speakers were President Bill Clinton, Brooke Shields, Cheyenne Jackson and Vivienne Westwood.
