Sexy, Sassy Celebs Pose for HIV Equal Campaign

Positive? Negative? Everyone has a HIV status, but a new campaign reminds us that these aren't the only adjectives available. Created by HIV-positive activist Jack Mackenroth and celebrity photographer Thomas Evans, the national HIV Equal campaign strives to encourage HIV testing and eliminate the stigma of HIV through a social art movement utilizing photo portraits.

Supported by Connecticut-based World Health Clinicians, HIV Equal puts a positive spin on the word "status," allowing participants to label themselves with an adjective that embodies an important aspect of their personality.
