What do you consider to be your favorite kind of date?
Any date that has organic conversation. Dating to me feels like grocery shopping. I lose interest fast when I'm asked the standard million questions. I'm unceremonious about it now so I basically stop the conversation and teach them what an organic conversation is. Then the date goes pretty smooth, once they realize it's actually not going badly ...it just started off on the wrong foot.
Hanging out like it's a best buddy is awesome. I just want the guy to be cool, relaxed and fun. Talk about anything and everything. If I'm not interested in a topic or you're not, then switch the topic, I like that, it's sexy. I like guys being assertive especially on dates.
And Humour. I almost forgot, have a sense of humour. There is nothing more fun and sexy on a first date than a sexy guy who can laugh at himself or just in general.
When does sex usually come into the picture when you meet someone?
Whenever. I have no shame I guess lol. If I feel comfortable then it doesn't matter when to me. I've tried on the first date and waiting for dates and dates. It's totally random. If I really find the guy sexy, I'm not going to over-think it. I definitely can't go longer than 3 dates without sex, I get totally frustrated.
What are you attracted to in a person that others might find surprising?
Shorter guys. I'm 6 feet tall and my friends typically find it surprising that because I'm a bottom I should be the shorter one. I don't get how height plays into that lol. I like my guys around my height or shorter. Taller is ok but I'm a bit awkward because I'm not used to it.
What's the worst thing about dating?
OMG, most definitely the "list". Chuck that guys, seriously. The quickest way to end a date with me is to start asking me where I grew up, how many siblings I have, etc. It's so unoriginal and I feel like I'm interviewing for a job.
Talk about your day or ask me about mine and let the questions come naturally. I don't like scripted dates at all. If you're armed with a list of questions about what you want to know and what you're looking for, then it's definitely going to be a rocky date for you. And for me there are no excuses for that behaviour.
What's the best thing about dating?
Meeting new people. Listening to them talk about their lives. Getting to know them. I love it.
Are you the usually the dumper or the dumpee?
Dumpee and I've lost count. I've only dumped a few guys. I don't even know what to say about this, it just always happens that way. I've been out in the gay world since 2000 and apparently, I'm too nice. Should I be bitter and jaded instead? Or maybe a bad boy? I keep the bad boy stuff for the bedroom honestly.
What's the cheesiest pick-up line you've used ... that's worked?
I still remember this as plain as day: "So what's it going to take for me to get you into my bed?". It was cheesy but direct lol. It worked (hey, he was hot!).
What's the best line someone's given you and did it work?
For some reason Chicago guys always have the best pickup lines. I don't even remember everything he said but I remember this guy wandering around the bar for an hour or so. Then he came up to me in the bar and he looked really frustrated. With a smile he said hi, leaned into my ear and gave me this huge speech about how he could see I was shy and it was just driving him more crazy than my killer eyes and innocent face. Without even stopping, he went on talking about the things he wanted to do to me but he said it in such a non-creepy way that I had goose bumps over my entire body. He was such a sexy guy and I was shocked at how forward he was.
It worked but I needed about 10 minutes before I could get up to leave with him which made him laugh lol.
What's the worst line you've gotten?
Something about bending me over and "workin' that" until I'm begging him to stop. REALLY not sexy. You can talk to me like that in the bedroom but not when you first meet me in the bar :).
Do you tend to meet more people online or in bars?
Both. I tend to find people online a lot more flakey, rushed and insecure. Insecurity isn't sexy at all guys.
No matter what shape you're in or how old you are, you can be Hot Commodity.
