The Ladies Locker Room: Free Show Or Off Limits?
I have a confession to make: I check out women in the locker room at my gym.
That's right. While these women might think they are safe from prying eyes, they're not because I'm looking. I can't help myself. If I see someone attractive with perky breats and a nice butt, I am going to take a peek.
I'm not obvious about it—at least I don't think I'm obvious about it. I don't ogle anyone, and I would never make a comment like, "I'd like a piece of that." But, believe me, I've thought it. Look, I'm a lesbian, and I go to a gym full of hot women, and they're all around me in the locker room in various states of undress. How can I not look? To me, it's like a free show—a reward even for hauling my lazy ass to the gym and working out.
Still, I feel a little weird about it.
I confessed my "sin" to my gay friend Jose, and he laughed at me for thinking it was such a big deal. "Men check each other out all the time in the locker room," he said, "and we're obvious about it."
But it's different for women. My gym buddy Teresa—a lesbian who insists she doesn't "objectify" other women in the locker room—calls me a perv, and she says most of the straight women around me and probably a lot of lesbians, too, would freak out if they knew I was inspecting their goods.
My straight female friends have mixed opinions. "If some guy was in the locker room watching me change, I'd knock him out. But I could care less if another chick appreciates my body. It's harmless," my friend Bev said, adding, "I look at women, too, when I think they're hot."
On the other hand, my straight pal Kristen isn't comfortable with the idea of another woman looking at her boobs while she is changing. "It is just as creepy as some guy watching you change," Kristen insisted.
Oh, and Kristen also said she will never, ever go to the gym with me now that she knows about my wandering eye.
So what do you think? Have you been known to take in the eye candy in the locker room? And would you be creeped out if you knew a cute little lesbian was taking a gander at you?
