Israeli-born Maya Guez is one of my favorite contemporary photographers. After establishing herself in
Europe, Guez relocated to New York and has since shot for everyone from
Playboy to L'Oréal Paris. Along with Kehinde Wiley, she is a master of producing unforgettable images of the modern black male. Her sublime lighting captures every subtle gradient of skin tone and texture. And her unique vision results in photographs that are at once sexy and thought-provoking. Check out more after the jump.
