Milan Fashion Week Highlights: Dirk Bikkembergs

With the 2012 Summer Olympics approaching, an item from Dirk Bikkembergs’ latest sport couture line would make a timely choice for next spring. Mixing terry cloth blazers and “warm up” pants with bodysuits, the diving-inspired collection shown last weekend in Milan was one of the few to largely stay away from bold patterns and vivid colors, though bringing back the eye-catching color combination of pink and green was unexpected.

Helping showcase the designer’s new work were Miguel Iglesias (left), and André Ziehe, who was also in the Dolce & Gabbana show we featured yesterday.
