HustlaBall Berlin Will be Hotter than Ever

HustlaBall. That's right, "hustla" as in the street spelling for "hustler," also known as a "rentboy," or what your mom might call a "male prostitute" if she talked about those kinds of things. What is the HustlaBall, and how did it become one of the top, most popular parties in the world for gay men?

According to the HustlaBall website, the event "originated in 1998 from a New York meeting of hustlers advertising on rentboy.com. As there is a magazine in the US called Hustler, the name was changed to HustlaBall, in order to avoid a law suit. In 2003 Sascha Müller-Bardone brought the format to Berlin and made it the biggest HustlaBall event worldwide." Indeed, while there are now HustlaBalls from New York to London, the Berlin party—which is October 20-24 this year— is one of the grandest, most unique, sexually-charged events in the world.

The sexual liberalness found in Berlin makes that city a hotspot for travelers looking to live out a fantasy or 10. HustlaBall itself offers multiple opportunities to explore and express those interests, whether they be losing yourself on a dance floor, chilling out in a hypnotic lounge among hundreds of hot men, flirting uninhibitedly with every sexy stud you encounter, watching a live performance that will stir your soul (among other things), dabbling in a little fetishy fun you'd never try at home, or just totally immersing yourself in the erotically indulgent atmosphere. As the site accurately says, "There is hardly any other activity so strongly breathing the spirit of free living and free loving, without dogmatic sexual discrimination, prejudice or wrong shame."

Attendees range from twinks to daddies, working-class guys to business power players, famous porn stars (see our list below) and a couple of washed-up ones, unknown hustlers, and everyday guys on a vacation. And while we could give you a list of all the events happening over these four days, we thought a slide show from the 2010 event and a video for 2011 would be more appreciated.

DJs for the 2011 event include hunky swimwear model Phil Romano (Circuit in Barcelona), international DJ Fabio White (Rapido, Amsterdam), Israeli ballett soloist and well-known Berlin DJ Micky Friedmann (HustlaBall, Berlin), the legendary Alan (Joe Rome), producer and GMF resident DJ Chris Bekker (Berlin), Australian DJ and music producer Mike Kelly (Greenkomm, Köln); more named will come in very soon.

Performers for this year are still being discussed, but the 2010 Hustlaball Berlin featured such popular porn stars as Ricky Sinz, Michael Lucas, Kyle King, Samuel Colt, Collin O'Neal, Tony Aziz, Adam Killian, Chris Porter doing all kinds of kinky, dirty stage shows for your enjoyment.
