Channing Tatum Used a Dildo on 'The Vow'

Oh, the fantasies that arise (among other things) when we think about hunk-tastic Channing Tatum whipping out a dildo during a sex scene.

Evidently that's what happened on the set of The Vow; sadly, none of us were involved.

People.com (via U.K magazine Stella) reports that the former male stripper wanted to play a joke on co-star Rachel McAdams during their romantic nude scene. According to the 33-year-old actress, "Channing got the props department to make a prosthetic, um, member." We're assuming he had it lodged in his briefs or under the sheets or somewhere somewhat hidden because if he'd have dropped trou she certainly would have seen what it was. But she did continue her story, adding it was "Literally a fake penis. I didn't know what to do – I thought, 'Is that the real deal?' It was very realistic. It was ridiculous, the scale of it!"

Our question? Did Tatum let her do a compare / contrast session between his fake dong with the real deal? You know, for scientific research. Or something.
