Of course we know you'll be seeing Perks of Being a Wallflower—with breakout stars Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman—but here are five other films recommended by Out.com that you'll want to make sure are on your schedule for the coming months. Click the titles below for more about each film.

Directed and co-written by Ira Sachs, the drama traces the dizzying highs and crippling lows of a decade-long relationship between a closeted lawyer (Damages’ Zachary Booth) and a documentary filmmaker (Thure Lindhardt). (Opens September 7)

As a former adviser to Jackie Kennedy and an editor at both Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, Diana Vreeland left an indelible mark on the fashion landscape. This doc takes an intimate look into the life of the woman dubbed the “Empress of Fashion.” (Opens September 21)

Director David France’s documentary chronicles the struggles and victories of ACT UP and TAG (Treatment Action Group) as the groups fight to discover and distribute the drugs that would transform AIDS from a death sentence into a manageable condition. (Opens September 21)

In the latest from gay Precious director Lee Daniels, Nicole Kidman plays a trailer-trash blonde bombshell who enlists the help of a reporter (Matthew McConaughey) to free her prison pen pal (John Cusack) from death row. Zac Efron provides the eye candy. (Opens October 5)

Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Rebel Wilson star in this comedy about an a capella girls-against-boys rivalry. Think Bring It On, but with high notes. (Opens October 5)

When frustrated single Jenn (Jenn Haris) decides she’s ready for a baby, she solicits the help of her gay friend Matt (Matthew Wilkas). Their decision to conceive the child the “old-fashioned way” throws a wrench into their relationship, but a smart, tart script from writer-director Jonathan Lisecki ensures plenty of laughs. (Opens October)
