We fell in love with the Kerli’s sexy sound after experiencing her 2008 debut album Love is Dead and her #1 Billboard Dance/Club single, “Army Of Love.” Since then, we’ve been eagerly awaiting her follow up and the dance-pop diva has given our ears a reason to rejoice with the release of “Zero Gravity,” the first new advance track from her forthcoming second album.

“Zero Gravity” is both ethereal and energetic—a mixture which is perfectly captured in the single’s music video and makes it easy to see why the songstress is often compared to legends Bjork and Annie Lennox. Such comparisons might seem extreme to those unfamiliar with Kerli, but for fans who’ve experienced her magnetic music the association is right on target. “I’m trying to create a world around my music,” she says. “And this world needs to be pure, real, honest and beautiful but still a little interesting, dark and definitely mysterious.”

If “Zero Gravity” is only the beginning of Kerli’s latest creation we can’t wait to hear more.

You can dine on the delicious visuals in the video below and snag the infectious single in the iTunes store now.  Also, keep an eye out for the multiple re-mixes for “Zero Gravity” that are expected to drop on April 3, including one by world renowned DJ, Laidback Luke.

To discover more of this daring diva’s music visit Kerli’s Facebook page where you can find multiple versions of her hit “Tea Party” and the Triple-A radio favorite “Walking On Air”(from Love Is Dead) as well as her cover of the American standard “Nature Boy” which was featured in the 2011 season finale spots for Smallville.
