Todrick Hall Mixes Disney And Katy Perry Into A Magical Celebration Of Gay Love
First Todrick Hall won us over with his hood rat musical parody, Beauty And The Beat. And now he's putting the fairy back in fairy tale with a charming homage to Katy Perry and Disney romance.
In CinderFella: A Love Story, Hall just wants a chance to come out to the ball and find his Prince Charming (gay former 'N Sync member Lance Bass). But his wicked drag queen step sisters—played by Drag Racers Willam Belli and Shangela) clown him before trompin' off all nasty.
But before he can say bippity-boppity-boo, his fairy Godmother suits him up in royal duds and sends him to the late night ball hopping with a crew of lesbian Disney heroines.
Forget the beast and Aladdin! These ladies are quite happy to ride each others' magic carpets without a fella holding their hand.
Give the video a spin. Not only will you love how Hall incorporates Katy Perry's music with just a dash of Michael Jackson's choreography, but it's also got a nice message about love and acceptance with a magic all its own.
