Justin Timberlake set the Twitterverse on fire Thursday, January 10 when he teased his return to music by tweeting, “To whom it may concern…I think I’M READY!” along with a link to a video aptly titled, “I’m Ready.”

In the video, the singer-turned-actor strolls through what appears to be a recording studio as he dismisses the rumors that he’s “done with music.”

“[Music] means more to me than anybody else in the world,” Timberlake claims in the video’s voiceover. He then reminds us, “I’ve only done two albums in 10 years,” before he asks, “What does the next decade mean for me?”

A countdown clock currently looms over the Timberlake’s official website, suggesting the singer will be dropping new music in a matter of days and while it’s been several years since we’ve heard fresh tracks from the former Nsync member, Timberlake assures us his music is never far from his thoughts. "I'm the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it," the “My Love” singer says of his music. "As close as I get to it, I don't know that I could physically torture myself that much year in and year out, and expect it to fulfill me the way that it does."

Will the Timberlake’s return be worth the wait? The singer seems to hope we’ll think so as he ends his video announcement saying, “I don’t want to put anything out that I feel like is something I don’t love. You just don’t get that every day. You have to wait for it… I’m ready.”
