The Dreamy Deets on the Darren Criss Summer Tour

Your teenage dream has come true!

While we were still cooling down from his buzzworthy performance of "Call Me Maybe" at the L.A. GLAAD Awards, Glee's Darren Criss announced on Twitter yesterday that he's embarking on his first solo tour this summer.

Kicking off May 29 in his hometown of San Francisco and continuing through June 30, the 16-city North American Listen Up... tour will preview songs from his forthcoming album and include songs from his 2009 self-released EP Human.

“I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the summer than being on the road and doing live shows,” says Criss, who plays gay gleek Blaine Anderson on Glee. “I wanted to do something bigger than what I’ve done before — more cities and new music. It’s a real opportunity for me to connect with all the people who’ve supported me through the years, as well as a chance to get new folks excited. It’s gonna be a party for everyone!”

An exclusive fan pre-sale takes place Apr. 25; tickets go on sale to the general public Apr. 27. Visit Facebook and Ticketmaster for more info.
