WATCH: Out Singer Aiden James Wants to Dance With Somebody
It's been more than a year and a half since Whitney Houston's passing, but the tributes are no less bittersweet.
Aiden James, who was profiled by The Advocate last year, has released a lovely video for his thoughtful, emotional version of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," slowing down Whitney’s 1987 dance hit and transforming it into an anthem for late-night gay longing. Hey, who doesn't want to feel the heat with somebody?
"whitney & i share a birthday," writes the out electro-pop singer-songwriter on YouTube. "at age 4 i would grab a hairbrush & sing along to this song with my radio growing up in my aunts hair salon. miss u whitney."

And how about that single artwork, huh? Nippy's legs were never this good.
