Ads Featuring Transgender Swimsuit Model Unveiled

Brazilian clothing line Blue Man has unveiled its anticipated spring/summer 2012 swimwear campaign featuring transgender fashion model Lea T. 

News of the groundbreaking ads broke last July when behind-the-scenes pics of the campaign photo shoot appeared on the Made in Brazil website. In addition to showing Lea in a bathing suit, the on-set images showed top photographer Terry Richardson—famous for pushing the envelope—photographing two male models engaged in a kiss. Though ads featuring the same-sex couple have yet to surface, the campaign is also notable as being the last campaign model Murio Rezende posed for before he was found dead last August. Rezende can be seen third from the right in the second photo below and second from the right in the last photo below.
